Under the theme “Towards a Modern Agricultural Season – Nineveh as a Model”, LASS Industrial Investment Company organized a specialized training workshop in cooperation with the Local Union of Farmers’ Associations, Nineveh Agriculture Directorate, and the Agricultural Cooperative Bank.
The event was attended by representatives of agricultural departments, union branches, and a large number of farmers from Nineveh, Kirkuk, and Salah Al-Din.
The workshop focused on introducing farmers to the interest-free installment purchasing mechanism through the Agricultural Cooperative Bank, in partnership with LASS, to acquire:
- New Holland tractors and harvesters
- Atlantis center pivot irrigation systems
- ERHAS fixed irrigation systems from Turkey
Representatives from New Holland Italy, delivered detailed presentations on the technical features and advantages of the equipment, while LASS representatives explained the financing procedures and required guarantees in a clear and practical manner.
The initiative received positive feedback from all participants, who praised the company’s effort to modernize agriculture in Iraq and facilitate access to advanced machinery through flexible financial solutions.
